IT Systems Analyst III - Daily

Hybrid in Montreal QC (Hybrid Job)
Duration: 12 month(s)

Description/Comment:
Provide application and technical support to the critical 24x7 Loans and Trade Finance applications. Act as a subject matter expert on application architecture, disaster recovery, infrastructure integration. Follow Information security and adhere to governance framework for the applications in the platform. Participate in the Safety and Trust project and manage the Credits and Trades server obsolescence and vulnerabilities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for production support of Trade Finance applications.
2. Responsible for production support, follow-up of application developments, and flows between client Loans and Trade Finance applications and other back office systems.
3. Participate in technical projects related to Financing Solutions platforms.
4. Assist sponsors and project teams to identify business needs and define functional specifications.
5. Work closely with IT Global Banking teams to produce technical specification documents.
6. Responsible for coordinating and fulfilling projects support tasks, as well as providing status reports.
7. Maintain application and systems as per the Information Security guidelines.
8. Ensure data protection regulations are implemented from a data security standpoint.
9. Maintain monitoring, capacity planning and performance tuning of financing solutions applications components.
10. Understand and document the business process and data flow.
11. Lead the Change Control review meeting to ensure data quality and coordinate approvals.
12. Manage the cyberark bypass controls and assess for resolutions.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields.
2. Must have at least one of Shell/Perl/Batch/Python scripting skills.
3. Well versed with incident/problem/change management process.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Good documentation skills – advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
6. Good understanding of Java J2EE applications.
7. Good to have infrastructure, MQ, Websphere, Tomcat knowledge.
8. Good to have ITIL foundation knowledge/certification.
9. Experience with Unix/Linux/Windows servers.
10. Experience with application deployments and installations.
11. Knowledge of SQL/PL SQL.
12. Knowledge of Tools like Jira, ITSM, SN.
13. Strong multitasking skills and ability to reprioritize tasks.
