What we offer

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator who will be responsible for providing infrastructure support, service desk escalations and administering IT systems to our internal stakeholders.

What you’ll do

• Support the completion of day-to-day responsibilities of the IT Infrastructure team to assist in meeting overall business needs.
• Work with relevant applications to support the administration of IT systems which includes collecting, reviewing and analyzing data while adhering to the Company’s policies and procedures.
• Oversee the documentation of customer network solutions, including solution design documents, records of change, and network diagrams.
• Implement solutions for optical, wired, wireless, and security infrastructures within a large and complex environment.
• Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in alignment with established objectives.
• Maintain multi-site network operations and software applications, including IOS operating systems and regular maintenance for both private and public facilities.
• Support various mission-critical operations within the organization.
• Provide technical training and support to relevant teams within the organization.
• Contribute to a positive corporate culture that supports equity, inclusion, learning, and wellness.

What you bring

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Information Technology.
• Proficiency in a wide range of technical areas, including cloud computing and VPN.
• Adeptness with computing technologies, frameworks, hybrid cloud setups, and communications systems.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills with a positive and cooperative attitude.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Exposure to designing for scalability, failover mechanisms, and knowledge of IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) systems and protocols.

Bonus points

• Proficiency in OSPF, CCIE, SD-wan and WLAN.
• Familiarity with the Fortinet family of products, encompassing Firewalls, Switches, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), and FortiManager.
• Exposure to Intune.
