IT Support Technician II (Hybrid)

Job description

Our client, a leading multi-service firm, is currently seeking a level 2 IT support Technician with 3 years of experience, preferably within a law firm, to join their IT team in Toronto.

Your new role

In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive IT support to our law firm client. This includes training their staff on new technologies, creating technical documentation and IT policies, and offering both remote and onsite technical support. You'll handle escalated issues, monitor support queues to ensure prompt issue resolution, and provide after-hours support when needed. Additionally, you'll manage various projects, research ways to enhance software efficiency, and collaborate with vendors.

What you will need to succeed

To be considered for this position, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience required, ideally in a law firm, with familiarity in Amicus or Aderant Expert. Key technical skills include proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server Administration, Microsoft Hyper-V, various backup solutions, Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365, software and hardware installation and configuration, network server management, system monitoring and maintenance, remote access tools, Microsoft Exchange and SQL Server, experience with ticketing systems, patching, and familiarity with diverse operating systems and mobile platforms (Android, iOS).
