Job description

Provide in-house and remote support to end users on a variety of issues. Identify, research, and resolve system problems. Ensure that service level agreements are met and perform a variety of complex tasks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide PC hardware and software support
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7, Office 2003, Office 2007, and Office 2010
  • Assist end-users in analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware/software and basic network support issues
  • Install, administer, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripherals both onsite and remotely
  • Identify opportunities to improve quick deployment of systems
  • Maintain call logs and solutions in Help Desk database
  • Use advanced tools to support remote locations in the US and Latin America
  • Provide quality customer care efficiently and promptly
  • Occasionally work outside normal business hours
  • Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED required

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a systems analyst with multi-platform applications
  • At least 1 year of technical experience as a systems analyst, relying on experience and judgment to meet goals

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Ability to troubleshoot with limited information and instructions
  • Capable of solving problems involving a few variables in dynamic situations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Bilingual in English/French preferred but not required

A+ certification is required
