Reporting to the IT Support Operations Manager, you will resolve issues, assist with network tasks, manage tickets, and collaborate with external service providers to maintain secure, reliable technology across the school.
St. Clement’s School (SCS) is seeking a collaborative and service-oriented IT Helpdesk Support Technician and Network Assistant to join our IT Department. This full-time role is central to delivering responsive, high-quality technical support to staff, students, and parents. As the first point of contact for IT services, the role combines strong customer service with hands-on technical troubleshooting across a diverse device environment, including macOS, Windows, iOS, and ChromeOS in our BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) setting.
Reporting to the IT Support Operations Manager & Network Administrator, and working closely with the IT Helpdesk & Systems Administrator, the successful candidate will support daily school operations by resolving technical issues, assisting with network and infrastructure tasks in collaboration with managed service providers, and contributing to a positive, innovative technology environment that enhances teaching and learning. This role requires excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
This is a full-time, in-person position with hours starting typically at 7:30 AM. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support school events, technology deployments, and emergency situations.
The salary range for this position is between $55,000-$60,000 per annum, in addition to a comprehensive health benefits plan, professional development opportunities, subsidized parking or TTC transit fare and generous vacation time.
