An airline headquartered in Toronto seeks an IT Support Technician responsible for providing technical support to its user community and ensuring the stability of corporate networks. This role includes both level 1 and 2 technical support, installation and maintenance of computer systems, and off-hours coverage as needed. Ideal candidates will possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, along with solid experience in Windows OS and networking technologies.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Service Management, the IT Support Technician is responsible for providing assistance and support to the Porter user community, ensuring network availability and performance, and managing inventory of equipment. This role includes level 1 and 2 technical support, problem determination, and off-hours coverage.
