Job description

The ACC is a not-for-profit organization established in 1906 that has grown to include 33 backcountry huts and 25 volunteer-run sections across Canada. We organize seasonal programs such as our annual General Mountaineering Camp, Shadow Lake Lodge, and our hostel in Canmore. We have a rich history in Canadian Mountaineering and a dynamic team at the office managing our diverse portfolios.

About the role

  • This role is covered under our Approved Canada Summer Jobs program.
  • To apply, you must:
  • Be aged between 15 and 30 years old on the start date;
  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN);
  • Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, or have refugee status in Canada.

What you'll do

  • Support IT implementation of new systems.
  • Assist with the cleanup of Microsoft 365.
  • Communicate with users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems.
  • Maintain a problems and solutions log for technical support.
  • Work alongside the IT Manager to evaluate and reduce costs and redundancies, fostering a collaborative mindset with integrity, focus, and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience with system integration, consulting user guides, technical manuals, and implementing solutions.
  • Database management experience, such as SGL or similar.
  • Strong background in IT service delivery, project management, or consulting services.
  • Ability to analyze and develop recommendations to address challenges.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making skills, and a solutions-focused mindset.

  • Experience with ERP platforms.
  • Experience with leading CRM platforms.
  • Exposure to digital experience platforms.
