The City of Orillia has an exciting opportunity for an Information Technology (IT) Student Cyber Security who will work directly with the Manager of Information Technology in the Business Development, Tourism, Modernization Division of the Corporate Services Department as the point of contact for the deliverables within the IT Security Program. You will achieve hands on experience in a real-world security environment liaising with and learning from Cyber Security professionals, the Canadian Cyber Security Centre of Excellence and other third party experts and an external 7-24 Siem.

Compensation for this position is $20.24 per hour for up to 35 hours per week, with flexibility based on the successful candidate’s availability during the contract period of approximately four months. This position provides the successful candidate with the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week.
