The Position:

The IT Solutions Project Manager is a hands‑on, outcomes‑focused, permanent internal role. The successful candidate will oversee multiple client engagements and be accountable for delivering high quality results across a portfolio of projects. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working on diverse initiatives, managing multiple stakeholders, and delivering solutions for clients across a range of industries. The Project Manager will be responsible for driving projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, timelines, and outcomes are clearly defined and successfully achieved.

Responsibilities:
  • The PM is expected to spend approximately 90% of their time directly managing projects.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that customer commitments are met.
  • Consult with clients/prospects, vendors, and internal personnel to discuss and validate estimates, coordinate business operations, and resolve issues.
  • Follow project management governance and control best practices aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive Project Plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects.
  • Reports status and variances.
  • Track progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines.
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
  • Implement AMTRA’s change management process to address scope, time, or budget change requests.
  • Assess change requests to determine impacts to schedule, quality, and risks.
  • Develop an effective communications strategy that ensures all project stakeholders are apprised of progress, updates, and risks.
  • Work in conjunction with pricing and proposal stakeholders to advise and help prepare standards of work and specifications, and estimation of service effort and costs.
  • Ensure delivery of all clients’ expectations in alignment with AMTRA’s commitments.
  • Report project delivery results with respect to achieved CSAT, profitability and next step opportunities.
  • As a subject matter expert, understand, articulate, and implement best practices related to area of expertise.
  • Identify areas where technical solutions would improve business performance and ensure defined requirements are met.
  • Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of project leadership and industry experience, guiding highly productive organizational units with a demonstrated track record of managing project deliverables to achieve business & financial results.
  • Previous experience working with a vendor or project service delivery organization preferred.
  • 5+ years in successful project management initiatives in a business integration role/capacity.
  • Education and/or experience equivalent to an undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field.
  • Solid understanding of the Microsoft 365 Platform and Cloud solutions, and their impact.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Modern Workplace and Cloud‑based solutions.
  • PMP is nice to have.
  • Independent self‑starter with a collaborative working style, strong work ethic and flexibility to take on wide range or roles and responsibilities
  • Financial acumen regarding budgets, forecasting, and risk/cost controls
  • Experience in managing and monitoring performance metrics across business units and project portfolios.
  • Exceptional management capability with superb oral, written communication and presentation skills
  • Success in delivering results on time and on budget
  • Team player who can influence others within the business and functional teams
  • Ability to work under tight timelines within a very dynamic, fast‑paced environment
  • Willingness to travel as required and work outside of normal business hours
  • Trusted, outcomes ‑ focused leader who influences clients, vendors, and internal teams through credibility and professionalism rather than positional authority.
  • Strong judgment and prioritization skills, able to quickly distill complex technical and business information into clear, actionable decisions across multiple projects.
  • Clear, disciplined communicator who listens actively, asks the right questions, and delivers transparent, predictable updates to all stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem solver who anticipates risk, manages change effectively, and maintains momentum in fast ‑ paced, multi ‑ client environments.
