THE TEAM AND THE ROLE

The IT Service Management Advisor is a key role in our organizational transition program. The main responsibilities include validating and documenting operational processes, implementing compliance mechanisms, and collaborating with various teams to align practices. The goal is to ensure performance indicators are defined, teams are trained, and service management processes are continuously improved, with recommendations for corrective actions to optimize operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Finalize documentation of operational guides with client squads.
  • Validate operational requirements (SOPs, workflows, roles, responsibilities).
  • Implement compliance verification mechanisms related to risks, security, and service quality.
  • Collaborate with IT, security, operations, and governance teams to ensure aligned practices.
  • Define operational performance indicators (KPI, SLA).
  • Support knowledge transfer and team training activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of service management processes.
  • Document discrepancies and recommend corrective measures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in information technology, operations management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT service management or IT operations.
  • Good knowledge of ITIL, ISO 27001, COBIT frameworks, or equivalents.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in service management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, BMC, etc.).
  • Bilingual in French and English required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Availability to work 2 days per week at the Montréal office.
