Zurich Canada is currently looking for an IT Service Delivery Analyst to utilize technical and operational expertise to support and provide recommendations to deliver effective IT services that will meet the day-to-day needs of the business.

Reporting to the Technology Services Manager, you will monitor system availability and performance, taking appropriate preventive actions to minimize downtime.

This is an onsite role.

What you will do -

• Advise and recommend necessary actions to ensure the effective operational delivery of core IT services within your area of responsibility, including:

  1. Infrastructure
  2. Network
  3. Workplace Technology
  4. Applications
  5. Desktop Support

• Leverage technology and collaboration skills to deliver solutions and services that align with business strategy.

• Collaborate effectively with internal and external peers and partners.

• Maintain methods, tools, and standards to ensure consistent service availability and optimal performance.

• Provide technical input for system implementation and ongoing operations.

• Support business projects during the planning stages to ensure consistent design and implementation within the existing or planned infrastructure.

• Contribute to service improvement programs by effectively utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Troubleshoot network-related issues (LAN/WiFi) using appropriate tools to gather insights and work with system engineers to identify solutions.

• Diagnose desktop, audio/video conferencing, and application issues, gathering relevant information to collaborate with the application architecture team for resolution.

• Develop and maintain system, application, and end-user support documentation.

• Additional Requirements:

  1. Occasional business travel as needed.
  2. Availability for extended hours during peak periods, shift work, and holidays as required.
  3. Consistent and predictable attendance.
  4. Onsite visibility as required.
Job Qualifications

What you bring to the table -

Required:

  1. Bachelors degree and 0 or more years of experience in the information technology area.
  2. OR
  3. Zurich Cybersecurity Technician Apprentice, including Associate Degree and 0 or more years experience in the information technology area.
  4. OR
  5. High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years experience in the information technology area.

AND

• MS Office experience.

Preferred:

  1. MS Teams / UC system support experience
  2. Desktop support & application support experience
  3. Strong analytical skills
  4. Customer service experience
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills
