A governmental insurance corporation in Winnipeg is seeking an IT Service Asset and Configuration Management Specialist. This role requires overseeing asset and configuration management, ensuring accuracy in databases crucial for IT services. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science and five to seven years of relevant IT experience, particularly with ITSM functions and services. Overview: As the IT Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) Specialist you are an integral part of the IT Service Management team and will maintain an asset and configuration management program of continual process improvement through governance and leadership on all matters relating to IT asset and configuration management. You will ensure that the Configuration Management Database is the definitive, up to date and correct source for all IT infrastructure and applications and that the Asset Management Database (AMDB) is the source for all office technologies used within the corporation.
Education: University degree/college diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
