IT Senior Business Analyst, Business Applications (T & I) (Telework/Hybrid)

Join us as an IT Senior Business Analyst, Business Applications (T & I) (Telework/Hybrid) at Radio-Canada.

This role is a contract position with a long-term outlook, requiring bilingual proficiency in English and French, and involves working in a hybrid environment with both in-office and remote work arrangements.

Position Overview

As a Business Analyst, you will contribute to the modernization of distribution processes by analyzing needs, documenting requirements, and mapping workflows. You will collaborate with stakeholders to implement innovative solutions, improve operational efficiency, and participate in a cross-departmental project.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead meetings and workshops to determine user needs.
  2. Act as liaison between end users, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  3. Clarify project visions with partners.
  4. Identify workflow improvements and document options.
  5. Participate in data mapping and migration efforts.
  6. Engage in agile scrum teams to deliver solutions iteratively.
  7. Develop and execute test scripts, perform application testing, and guide user acceptance testing.
  8. Report bugs and issues through tracking systems like Jira.
  9. Configure systems to meet user requirements.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; or College Diploma with relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business process analysis.
  • Relevant certifications (CBAP, IIBA, PMI-PBA) are assets.
  • Strong knowledge of requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Canadian broadcasting and advertising industries is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work under stress.
  • Flexible, proactive, and collaborative attitude.
  • Willingness to travel across Canada.
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
