IT Security Specialist

Position Title: IT Security Specialist (Access Management)

Location: Regina, SK

Overview
Charter is currently seeking one (1) experienced IT Security Specialist (Access Management) to join our team starting June 2025. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience as a Security Specialist managing and securing identities and accounts in an enterprise IT environment. Previous experience setting up, configuring, and maintaining user profiles and privileges is required. Experience conducting regular audits of account usage, resetting passwords, and responding to user access issues is also required. Location: onsite in Regina, SK. Term: 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts and access in multiple systems and applications (Windows, SAP, Office 365, custom applications etc.).
• Observe security policies and identify required changes.
• Perform security audits and reporting and participate in internal and external audits.
• Participate in project activity to implement security or access control solutions.
• Maintain application and data owners and provide training/support.
• Distribution and recovery of credentials and security tokens.
• Control and audit of elevated privileged accounts.
• Respond to incidents relating to security access.

Qualifications And Experience

• 6+ years of experience as a Security Specialist managing and securing identities and accounts in an enterprise IT environment.
• Previous experience setting up, configuring, and maintaining user profiles and privileges is required, ensuring proper access controls are in place.
• Experience conducting regular audits of account usage, resetting passwords, and responding to user access issues.
• Experience working with the security policies to identify potential unauthorized access and contribute to the overall security posture.
• Education: Active industry certifications (i.e., CISSP) as an asset.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
