Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a Security Analyst for the Global Workstation Configuration department. Reporting to the Team Lead, the successful candidate will play a role in contributing to the establishment of security measures, setting up dashboards and evaluation tools to report inherent risks, and implementing solutions. They will also identify residual risks in a coherent and objective manner within BRP's Global Station Configuration department, specifically for all security software in use at BRP.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Work collaboratively with the global Cybersecurity team to establish the requirements of senior management for the user IT service.

  • Identify software and equipment vulnerabilities for our service.

  • Suggest hardware and software fixes to team members.

  • Monitor various safety measures and ensure their application.

  • Share results with the IT team and management.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT support with a strong interest in security. Stay up to date with the latest developments in security and industry best practices.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft SCCM and Qualys would be advantageous, as these are our primary deployment tools.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the Google suite would be assets for analysis needs.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and information-processing skills.

  • A positive attitude with the ability to influence, persuade and initiate change.

  • Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills in both French and English.
