The opportunity :

Reporting to the VP, Digital & Technology, the IT, Reporting & Governance will support the development and execution of critical reporting packages, digital roadmaps, and technology capability models within the Digital & Technology team. This role will focus on optimizing project tracking, governance, and reporting, as well as driving key initiatives such as AI strategy, project delivery, and technology tool implementations. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and the advisory council to ensure timely, data-driven decisions and the successful execution of projects.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Assisting in the creation and implementation of a comprehensive reporting package across D&T, including tracking time utilization across BAU (Business as Usual), projects, and RIT (Request for IT Support) functions.
  • Analyzing and reporting on key metrics to ensure effective resource utilization, project progress, and operational efficiency across different D&T functions.
  • Governance and controls to manage risk and identify cost-savings opportunities.
  • Supporting the creation and development of a digital roadmap, including a technology capability model and AI strategy aimed at managing risk, enabling advisors, and enhancing operational efficiencies.
  • Contributing to the AI strategy, specifically focused on risk management, enhancing advisor capabilities, and improving operational processes within D&T.
  • Collaborating with teams to improve the current reporting structure and governance processes, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and in alignment with business objectives.
  • Supporting the engagement of the advisory council by providing consistent reporting and updates, assisting in defining and standardizing the pilot structure for key initiatives.
  • Contributing to the successful delivery of three key technology tools that improve advisor experience, operational efficiencies, and organizational outcomes.
  • Assisting in the development of policies and processes for standardizing pilot initiatives and supporting the on-time delivery of key projects.
  • Delivering regular updates, reports, and dashboards to the advisory council or sub-council, ensuring alignment with D&T’s goals and KPIs.
  • Working closely with project teams, business leaders, and the advisory council to ensure reporting is aligned with business goals, and continuously contribute to the improvement of project delivery processes.
  • Actively contribute to a culture of growth mindset, continuous learning, and improvement. Leverage knowledge in Wealth, Technology, and related fields of expertise to drive innovative solutions and enhance team capabilities.
  • Timely and accurate reporting on time tracking, utilization, and project performance across D&T functions.
  • Successful creation and approval of the digital roadmap, AI strategy, and technology capability model by senior leadership.
  • Continuous improvement of reporting structures and project governance processes, ensuring on-time delivery of projects.
  • Regular, actionable reports and updates provided to the advisory council, ensuring transparency and alignment with key initiatives.
  • Demonstrating a proactive approach to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning, leveraging knowledge in wealth, technology, and related fields.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, digital strategy, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in reporting, data analysis, or digital strategy, ideally within a technology or digital transformation environment.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, AI strategy, and technology roadmap development is an asset.
  • Proficiency with the MSOffice suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools and technologies such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate insights.
  • Solid understanding of AI and technology capabilities in a business context.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to contribute to the delivery of key technology systems and initiatives.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks, business process optimization, and the ability to support large-scale organizational change initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a high level of accountability, reliability, adaptability, and innovation in accomplishing day to day work and long-term goals.
  • An excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • A high tolerance for ambiguity; highly adaptive and able to manage a large volume of competing priorities.
