In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects across various departments, ensuring they align with the company’s business objectives and enhance operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to manage budgets, timelines, resources, and risks, all while ensuring that technology solutions meet the needs of our manufacturing processes, product development, and customer support.

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination: Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including system integrations, software deployments, infrastructure upgrades, and manufacturing technology improvements.

Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including internal teams, vendors, and senior leadership, ensuring clear communication regarding project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Budget & Resource Management: Develop project budgets, allocate resources, and ensure project goals are completed on time and within budget. Track and report on project financials and resource utilization.

Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. Proactively develop mitigation strategies and ensure any challenges are addressed promptly to prevent delays or cost overruns.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments including manufacturing, R&D, IT, supply chain, and marketing to ensure technology projects support business goals and improve operational efficiency.

Project Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, timelines, deliverables, and post-project reviews. Provide regular status updates to senior management.

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and contract terms.

Process Improvement: Continuously assess project management processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to increase efficiency and reduce time-to-market for key IT initiatives.

Change Management: Ensure effective change management processes are in place to support the adoption of new technologies, systems, or processes by employees and other stakeholders.

Compliance & Standards: Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies, including data protection, manufacturing standards, and regulatory compliance specific to the fitness equipment sector.

Requirements

Education:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly preferred.

Experience

At least 3-5 years of experience in managing IT projects, preferably in a technology-driven environment. Experience in the fitness equipment industry, manufacturing or similar sectors is a plus.

Skills

Technical Skills:

Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects, including system implementation, infrastructure upgrades, and software development.

Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, ERP solutions, and other technologies used in the fitness equipment industry.

Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana, or similar platforms).

Soft Skills

Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing risks and issues.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
