Job description

Lallemand is seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our Infrastructure and Shared Services team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the planning and execution of vital IT infrastructure projects, from new site integrations to large-scale global upgrades.

We need a leader who can leverage SAFe Agile for planning and Kanban for execution to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, meet strategic objectives, and transition seamlessly into operations. Your expertise will be crucial in driving service improvements and achieving tangible results across our global enterprise.

Main responsibilities :

  • Lead Agile IT Infrastructure Projects : Define scope, prioritize, and manage the end-to-end delivery of complex infrastructure initiatives.
  • Manage Project Portfolio : Coordinate and deliver a portfolio of concurrent projects, ensuring alignment and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Act as the main liaison, providing clear, timely updates on project status, risks, and budgets to senior management and business leaders.
  • Risk & Issue Management : Proactively identify, assess, and resolve project impediments.
  • Oversee Global Programs : Lead projects like new site integrations and our global Site Remediation program (network upgrades, Wi-Fi, hardware decommissioning).
  • Ensure Smooth Transitions : Develop and execute post-implementation support and service transition plans.

Technical skills

Required

  • 3+ years leading IT projects within an infrastructure or operations environment.
  • Proven success managing multi-site or global IT projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile (SAFe, Kanban) and ITIL best practices.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud).
  • Proactive AI Mindset : A proactive mindset in leveraging AI tools to enhance project management capabilities (e.g., automated reporting, risk assessment).
  • General IT Acumen : Possess broad technical problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems or technologies relevant to a project. Comfortable reading network diagrams or understanding application architecture at a high level. A background that includes IT operations or engineering experience is useful to ground project decisions in real-world feasibility.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desired.

  • Any relevant technical certification (e.g., in networking, cloud, or security).

  • Customer Focus & Ownership : Strong customer-first attitude and a keen sense of responsibility and accountability for results.
  • Language : English and French fluency are required for collaboration if based in Montreal Quebec Canada
  • Language : English if based in Brazil

  • Speaking French, Portuguese, Spanish, and German is considered an asset in our multicultural environment.

General criteria

Required

  • Travel : Willingness to travel internationally to company sites as needed (approximately 10–20%). Occasional travel may be required for project rollouts, on-site training sessions, or coordination of integrations. Must hold a valid passport and be able to obtain visas for travel.
  • Experience : Prior experience as an IT Operations Lead or IT Service Manager is a strong asset, providing a solid foundation in both technical and coordination skills.
