Job description

IT-Network Tech Support Analyst - Intermediate Level

Support, develop, and perform implementation activities for projects.

Perform Quality Assurance activities, including identifying and submitting network design issues to Engineering.

Participate in Follow-the-Sun (FTS) on-call rotation.

Serve as the primary contact for vendor TAC in support of operational problems.

Develop and maintain technical support processes and deliverables.

Develop and maintain processes for hand-over of technology and services to Operations.

Develop and maintain Network Service Support Models, Operations Practices, and workflow automation.

Assist with the development and maintenance of :

• Network Service General Practices
• Network technology and service ISRMPs
• Network technology recommendations
• Technology training programs
• Device configuration standards

Technical Skill Requirements :

• 3-5 years of Telecom Networking experience supporting enterprise infrastructure / services.
• Core networking technologies : Routing, Switching, TCP / IP, Wireless LAN, MPLS, Frame Relay, VSAT.
• Experience with leased lines and campus cabling.
• Network Security : Remote Access Technologies, IPSec.
• Voice Service technologies : PBX, VMX, Call Center-IVR, Cisco IP Telephony, Microsoft LYNC.

General Skills :

• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a global virtual team environment.
• Proactive, independent, and minimal supervision required.
• Multitasking and flexibility in handling priorities.
• Process-oriented with good analytical skills.
• Team player.
• Experience with Cisco / Juniper / HP routers and switches, Windows, UNIX, LINUX, and proprietary solutions.
