Job Summary
Morton Salt is seeking a skilled and proactiveIT Network & Systems Administratorto join our dynamic team and help support and maintain the company’s critical infrastructure across multiple locations. This role is responsible for the administration, troubleshooting, and optimization of network systems, servers, and end-user devices in both office and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows and Linux server environments, IP networking, virtualization, and enterprise applications, with a focus on reliability, security, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include providing first and second-level support for network and server infrastructure, managing hardware and software installations, maintaining system security and backups, and supporting business-critical applications. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional IT teams, vendors, and plant operations to ensure seamless technology integration and performance.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in IT systems administration, with proficiency in Microsoft technologies (Hyper-V, 365, SQL), Active Directory, Azure, and ITIL-based service management. Experience in manufacturing or operations technology (OT) environments is preferred. Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
