Meraki Talent’s expanding client is actively looking for an IT Mergers & Acquisitions Manager (Infra & IT Ops) to join their growing business. The organisation has grown both organically, as well as by acquisition, and with that, naturally have a large and complex IT estate. They are looking for someone with a broad understanding of Technology as a whole, with a good rounded knowledge of IT Operations and Infra. This is not a software or applications role, nor a Project / Change Management position (Although naturally will involve elements of such) this is an IT Infra / Ops focused role that would suit someone from this background. Remotely based with the need to occasionally visit their Scottish office, our client is looking for someone who can occasionally commute to the office at short notice for meetings if required.

Responsibilities of the IT Mergers & Acquisitions Manager :

1. Managing a diverse spread of external vendors across various technical verticals and geographical locations
2. Taking a bird eye view across the organisational technical estate
3. Be the ‘go to’ person for IT acquisitions across the group and be responsible for the integration of IT estates
4. Create an ‘M&A playbook’ with an IT lens, specifically in regards to acquired organisations
5. Manage stakeholders to a C-Suite level, often those resistant to change

Background of the IT Mergers & Acquisitions Manager :

1. Experience working within an M&A environment within Technology is absolutely essential and must be displayed upon CV
2. Broad Technology background, covering IT Infrastructure and Operations
3. Solid vendor management skills and experience
4. Experience dealing with those resistant to change
