About the Role

Winters Instruments is currently looking for a solutions focused IT Manager. If you are looking for a stimulating work environment with a well-respected, global manufacturer then this is the position for you! This position is in-office, based in the Toronto headquarters, and offers a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities

  • ERP implementation / migration.
  • Configuring and updating EDI connections (Electronic Data Interchange).
  • Network administrator with direct responsibility for the systems to ensure the operating, security and integrity of the databases.
  • Responsible for the setup and maintenance of workstations, printers, and cell phones.
  • Administer accounts in Office 365, Active Directory, Great Plains and SharePoint.
  • Maintain hardware inventory and user allocation.
  • Purchase servers, cell phones, desktops, laptops, and printers from our IT vendors.
  • Liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors.
  • Maintain the networking infrastructure.
  • Execute onboarding and offboarding IT procedures.
  • Participate in day-to-day IT operations.
  • Participate in IT projects including implementation of ERP.
  • Execute IT and information security processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain information security compliance qualifications.

Key Qualifications

  • University Degree in a related field
  • 5-10 years experience
  • Skilled in project management with respect to IT projects
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience in ERP implementation / migration
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows and commonly used Microsoft 365 apps
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of staff
  • Fluent in English (written and oral communication)
  • Must be comfortable working daily in-office at 121 Railside Road, Toronto
  • Experience in customer service environment preferred
