Job Title: IT Manager

Reports To: CTO

Job Overview:
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's information technology projects and strategies. This role is pivotal in directing the IT department, implementing technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency, and ensuring the security and stability of IT systems. This leader will partner and consult with senior-level executives, align with marketing for branding and field operations for excellence. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong focus on property management systems.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Lead and manage the IT department, including staff recruitment, training, and development.
2. Participate and oversee IT budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
3. Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology.
4. Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure and systems, with a focus on enhancing hospitality operations and property management efficiency.
5. Identify and recommend new technology solutions, particularly those beneficial to the hospitality sector.
6. Manage and oversee major IT projects, including integration and optimization of property management systems.
7. Develop and implement IT policy and best practice guides for the organization, with an emphasis on hospitality industry standards.
8. Conduct regular system audits and ensure compliance with hospitality industry regulations.
9. Maintain vendor relationships and manage IT service contracts relevant to the hospitality industry.
10. Stay updated with the latest technology trends and developments, especially in hospitality and property management.
11. Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring the system’s performance.
12. Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems.
13. Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2. 3-5 years of IT Management experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects.
3. Proven experience as an IT Director or similar role within the Retail, manufacturing, or hospitality industry.
4. Extensive knowledge and experience with property management systems.
5. Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and data security.
6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. Experience in managing budgets and IT projects.
8. Ability to think strategically and to lead.
9. Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems.
10. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization.
11. Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to work in support office.
2. Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
3. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
