Reporting to the President, the IT Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing IT strategies and initiatives that drive operational efficiency and improve service delivery within the JAVA IT Team strategy. The position will be responsible for daily operations and the selection and use of technologies within REG. The IT Manager ensures that the organization's technology infrastructure and security architecture align with business objectives while adhering to JAVA Company policies and standards.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement IT strategies that support business growth and operational excellence.
Align IT initiatives with JAVA Company and REG's strategic objectives.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance business performance.
Monitor the IT infrastructure (hardware, software, networks) to ensure performance and reliability.
Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring systems, networks, and applications function efficiently.
Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of all IT systems.
Maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with JAVA IT policies.
Ensure data security and integrity in alignment with JAVA IT policies.
Provide strategic input regarding technology trends and innovations to support business goals.
Provide technical support and guidance to employees across business units.
Analyze IT systems and infrastructure for performance optimization and make necessary recommendations for improvements.
Report periodically on the status of IT projects, risks, and resource allocation to management.
Ensure adherence to the corporate JAVA IT Security program.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar leadership role.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations, including networks, systems management, and cybersecurity.
Proven experience with IT project management and resource allocation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong leadership abilities, with the experience managing diverse teams.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Budget management experience and knowledge of IT procurement processes.
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards in the IT field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.
