Job summary

Mohawk Medbuy Corporation seeks an IT Project Manager to support its IT Member Services team in a hybrid role (three days in office, two remote). The candidate will manage a portfolio of IT projects, including scoping, planning, budgeting and vendor coordination, to ensure timely delivery within agreed budgets and deliverables.

The role requires a PMP designation, 6–8 years in project management within healthcare or shared financial transaction processing, and experience with ERP environments

We are currently recruiting for an IT Project Manager to support our IT Member Services team. This is a hybrid role (three days in office, two remote).

POSITION OVERVIEW

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver a portfolio of projects and enhancements within established time, budget, quality and scope parameters.
• Plan and direct all aspects of portfolio project management, including initial scoping, estimating, planning, prioritizing, scheduling, resourcing, risk assessment, cost/benefit analyses, establishing milestones, deliverables and budgets.
• Act as a liaison with business leadership, hospital resources, third party service providers, and individual contractors deployed on projects and enhancements.
• Manage the budget, analyze invoices for accuracy and completeness, and provide recommendations for their approval for payment.
• Track, monitor, report on, and communicate portfolio progress and status utilizing request logs, project plans, requirements references, quality measures, standard processes, milestones and budgets.
• Maintain and enforce the use of policies, procedures, methodologies, and standards to ensure effective planning and delivery of services, management of vendors and customers, and maintenance of the ‘one build’ concept in the shared services environment.
• Provide quality assurance of documentation, testing, configuration and development completed by third parties.
• Maintain the tools and repositories of knowledge materials.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Education, Training, and Experience

Mandatory

• University Degree in IT, Business/Commerce or related field.
• 6-8 years of work experience in Project Management specifically in Supply Chain, shared Financial Transaction Processing or Healthcare industries.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation required.
• Experience with agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience implementing disciplined, documented processes for estimating, scoping, requirements gathering, and other aspects of the project lifecycle.
• Proven experience managing the planning and delivery of $1M+ projects.
• Experience working with project management tools e.g., Planview, MS Project.
• 10+ years of system-related project management experience within an ERP (i.e. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) environment leveraging Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay and/or Finance
• High-quality written and verbal skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prepare and deliver process documentation, requirements, etc.
• Strong financial, contract management, analytical skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service.

Preferred

• Experience working in a hospital and/or public sector environment an asset.

TRAVEL

• Ability to travel to Mohawk Medbuy offices if required.
