Groupe Dynamite Inc. in Montréal is seeking a detail-oriented Manager, Internal Controls to strengthen the IT controls program and support the ICFR compliance testing for 52-109.

You will assist the Director of Risk and Controls to provide independent assurance and help senior management oversee risk, controls, and governance from an IT perspective. You will plan and execute IT audits across access controls, change management, data security, cloud environments, and DR/BCP, while supervising

Qualifications

• Experience in IT internal controls within a mid-to-large public company or advisory firm.
• Strong knowledge of IT general controls, SDLC, and data security principles.
• Familiarity with CO BIT, SOX, and 52-109 frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT audits covering access controls, change management, data security, network infrastructure, cloud environments, and DR/BCP.
• Assess ITGCs and application controls design and operating effectiveness.
• Evaluate compliance with 52-109 and related frameworks.
• Identify control gaps, vulnerabilities, and remediation; document findings.
• Prepare audit papers and reports for management and stakeholders.
• Supervise Internal Controls analysts and review their work papers.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to understand systems and risks.
• Track remediation and verify corrective actions are implemented.
• Support external auditors for ITGC and business controls.
• Stay current on emerging technology risks and evolving regulatory requirements.
• Assist in risk assessments to shape the annual audit plan.
