IT Infrastructure Team Lead to manage a team of network and systems administrators, and provide technical guidance and hands-on support for a midsized organization. (Contract to hire)

Calgary candidates ONLY - This is a 6-month to 1-year long contract with the intention to hire permanently at the end of the contract. 5 days per week onsite in the office.

Must have:

• 8+ years of overall IT experience, both in Network and Systems Administration, providing hardware, software, and telecommunications maintenance and support
• Experience leading/ managing a team of 4-5 members
• Experience with cybersecurity best practices, compliance, tools, and risk management
• Experience leading infrastructure projects including upgrades and migrations
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as:
• Windows 10/11, Linux, Windows Server, SQL, Office 365, MFA, VMWare/ vSphere
• LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SAN/NAS, backup, Cisco network switches/routers
• Active Directory, M365

Nice to have:

• Palo Alto Firewall design and configuration
• Hyper-V configuration and management
• Data Protection and Privacy
• Scripting/Automation
• Certifications
