Job summary

Intact Financial Corporation in Montreal is seeking a Senior Financial Specialist, IT Finance to join the IT Financial Planning & Analysis team. The ideal candidate is a CPA or MBA Finance with strong financial acumen and experience managing IT project budgets, forecasts and reporting.

You will lead monthly reports and executive presentations, partner with IT leadership, and help evolve our total cost of ownership strategy across IT portfolios with a focus on accuracy and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or MBA Finance required.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word proficiency and strong analytical skills.
• Minimum 5+ years of financial management or financial reporting experience.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Hyperion (Essbase).
• Familiarity with project lifecycle, waterfall and agile work processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations to meet financial objectives and explain budget variances.
• Consolidate monthly IT executive management presentations.
• Participate in IT forecasting and budgeting for IT projects and portfolios.
• Run the resource forecast process and compare budget vs. staffing.
• Create and maintain dashboards to explain deviations between actuals, budget and forecast.
• Improve reporting through metrics and visualisations; automate where possible.
