Job summary

Intact is seeking a Manager – Consolidation & Special Projects to join our Corporate Finance team in Montréal. You will lead high-impact financial initiatives and strengthen consolidated information for senior management and external stakeholders.

You will identify and deliver complex initiatives (acquisitions, transformation, optimization) while supporting disclosure and close activities based on priorities. Strong IFRS, consolidation, and corporate finance expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in consolidation and financial disclosure.
• Knowledge of IFRS is an asset.
• Experience in a public company and/or the insurance sector in an international, multi-currency environment is an asset.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex finance projects (transformation, integration, optimization).
• Excellent communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, strong prioritization and attention to detail.
• Proven leadership, team spirit, autonomy, and ability to interact at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Identify, structure and deploy process improvement and automation opportunities; leverage AI to increase efficiency and quality of financial information for senior leadership.
• Lead complex cross-functional finance projects (finance transformation, process optimization, IFRS standards implementation, acquisitions, integration) with governance and timelines.
• Support consolidation and financial information teams with special transactions and quarterly close activities as needed.
• Contribute to strengthening internal controls through documentation and robustness initiatives.
• Coordinate audit work related to transformation initiatives with external auditors.
• Collaborate with finance departments to deliver on the mandate and timelines.
• Coach and develop team members; foster collaboration and accountability.
