We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential technical support to our clients, ensuring their systems operate efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with network configurations, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of various operating systems and networking concepts.

Duties
  • Provide technical support for desktop and laptop systems across multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Troubleshoot software issues and perform hardware diagnostics to resolve client problems promptly.
  • Assist in the configuration and maintenance of computer devices and networking equipment, including firewalls and LAN setups.
  • Utilize tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy to track service requests and document resolutions.
  • Offer help desk support to clients, ensuring clear communication throughout the troubleshooting process.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on client systems to prevent potential issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to IT support.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in VPN technologies and experience with computer networking concepts.
  • Solid understanding of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Experience with technical support roles involving desktop support, IT support, or help desk functions.
  • Familiarity with software troubleshooting techniques and computer hardware components.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing high-quality assistance.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
