About the IT Client Services Technician Role :

Reporting to the Manager, Help and Support, the IT Client Services Technician supports the delivery of technical services to Humber’s students, employees, suppliers, and guests.

About You :

  • Education
    • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or related studies, or equivalent experience.
    • ITIL Foundations certification from a recognized authority.
    • HDI Desktop Support Technician certification or relevant training/experience.
  • Experience / Skills
    • Minimum three years of related technical support experience in a busy environment, preferably in academia.
    • Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
    • Experience supporting software and hardware on MS Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and Android.
    • Experience with BMC Remedy / Helix, Jira, Monday.com, and MS Teams is a strong asset.
    • Understanding of hardware, software, licensing, and services in IT.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Ability to give clear verbal and written instructions to technical teams.
    • Strong problem-solving, creative thinking, and analytical skills.
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
    • Ability to work well under pressure.
