Application Delivery - Canada Life is an organization providing information technology solutions to Canada Life. In Technology, the Customer is at the centre of what we do.

Our Technology professionals make a significant contribution to the company’s business goals through the effective delivery of value-added services. These services include setting technology direction, project management, analysis, system architecture, software development, and operational support for our Business units.

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) supports smaller projects and enhancements involving existing processes, working as part of a larger project team under guidance. The role requires understanding of business environments, operations, and IWIS/AN methodologies. The BSA focuses on detailed phases of the Project Delivery Life Cycle (PDLC) such as specifications and analysis, with guidance on most tasks.

What You Will Do
  1. Apply understanding of business environments and practices to work assignments.
  2. Utilize IWIS/AN methodologies and tools in data analysis, requirement documentation, and project delivery.
  3. Gain functional knowledge of client business practices.
  4. Understand general IT/IS environments and trends.
  5. Identify solution options, analyze information, and apply problem-solving techniques.
  6. Communicate effectively with peers and stakeholders.
  7. Adapt to change, work under pressure, and demonstrate willingness to learn.
  8. Support team building, influence others, and encourage participation.
  9. Identify actions needed, educate others, and communicate issues and opportunities.
  10. Present information clearly, understand perspectives, and negotiate outcomes.
  11. Develop plans, multitask, and monitor progress toward deadlines.
What You Will Bring

  2. Understanding of business management concepts and IWIS/AN methodologies.

  4. Experience in IT/IS and business area knowledge.

  6. Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.

The salary range is $58,600 - $107,500 annually, excluding variable compensation. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with a minimum of 5 business days from posting.
