JOB DESCRIPTION

The IT Business Management Planning Lead will develop strategic sourcing plans aligned with the Technology strategy and capital plans, collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to meet corporate requirements. The Planning Lead will also oversee changes to the Technology Delivery Model framework, manage business management activity impacts, and lead change management and service improvement projects.

Duties:

  1. Plan technology requirements that will be used for developing strategic sourcing activities as related to the Technology strategy and capital plan, working closely with other departments such as Supply Chain, Category Management, Delivery, and Enterprise Architecture.
  2. Plan future impacts and changes to the Technology Delivery Model framework, ensuring it meets business requirements.
  3. Communicate the changes and impacts to business management activities resulting from the implementation of the Technology Capital Plan.
  4. Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT sourcing and procurement activities.
  5. Act as a project manager for change management and service improvement initiatives related to IT Business Management.
  6. Oversee the sourcing and procurement process to address complex business requirements and ensure compliance with established procedures.
  7. Engage proactively with internal technology stakeholders to guide them strategically through the sourcing and procurement processes.

Qualifications:

  1. A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Information Management or related field is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in a dynamic business environment, including 5 years in a Business Management, Supply Chain, Contract Management or similar role.
  3. Proven leadership abilities and a minimum of 5 years line or cross-functional management experience.
  4. Strong relationship management, leadership skills, and business management planning expertise.
  5. Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  6. Candidates with alternate or equivalent experience may be considered.
