IT Business Architect

CHALLENGE

We are seeking an experienced Business Architect to join our IT architecture team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in business architecture, project management in the banking sector, process improvement and a deep understanding in Regulatory Compliance and Governance. They will be able to understand operational needs and regulatory requirements to design effective and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise and support clients in the implementation and prioritization of various strategic mandates under their responsibility.
• Monitor and anticipate trends in their field of expertise and make appropriate recommendations to ensure the development of best practices for UNI and its subsidiaries.
• Act as a leader for projects, mandates, and development activities specific to their field of expertise and whose scope and impact are major at UNI level.
• Influence the development and evolution of the enterprise architecture framework (policies, standards, guides, procedures, and models) and the development of architecture targets supporting UNI's strategy.
• Design and implement business architectures for banking projects.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards.
• Review management practices and develop risk strategies and frameworks.
• Conduct audits of IT and business systems, identify potential vulnerabilities, and generate audit reports based on findings.
• Oversee organizational processes, implementation plans, and the operation of deployed systems, promoting the organization’s strategies and objectives.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Develop and implement the data and control strategy for finance.
• Manage risks and opportunities related to project implementation.
• Identify process and system change needs to improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to corporate strategy by proposing improvements for processes, systems, and technologies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 yearsof experience in business architecture and project management in the banking industry.
• Knowledge of current banking regulations and standards.
• Proven track record of implementing audit and IT control frameworks.
• Experience in process optimization.
• Experience sourcing data.
• Experience in project management and team leadership.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written skills, in both official languages.
• Any equivalence in training and experience will be considered.
