IT Business Analyst - Online and / or Mobile Banking Projects

On behalf of our banking client, Procom is seeking an IT Business Analyst for online and/or mobile banking projects on a 12-month contract based in Montreal, QC.

Role:

Responsible for business analysis activities on medium to large projects. Demonstrates advanced knowledge and ability, applying competence in complex situations and guiding other professionals. Responsible for all aspects of requirements delivery—planning, elicitation, analysis, documentation, management, and support—for changes to Business Areas and Technology.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of professional BA/BSA experience in an Agile environment. Expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and high-level planning.
• Strong background in mobile and/or online banking projects, with experience in requirements delivery.
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to independently gather Business and Systems requirements; strong analysis skills.
• Experience in requirements analysis and documentation, including Scope Modeling, Business Process Modeling, Data Requirements, Business Rules Analysis, Non-Functional Requirements, User Stories, Story Decomposition, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Excellent communication skills; experience working with both business and IT stakeholders, including facilitating large stakeholder meetings.
• Strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, gap analysis, and ability to manage multiple projects (> $2 million).
• Knowledge of requirements documentation and modeling tools such as Mural and Figma.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Understanding of system integration concepts and APIs.
• Comfort analyzing payloads (JSON/XML) and mapping data elements to requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct stakeholder requirements analysis to identify impacted groups and requirements.
• Develop plans and estimates for requirements delivery, improving accuracy over time.
• Lead Agile ceremonies with the Product Owner.
• Manage risks, assumptions, and constraints related to requirements.
• Facilitate collaborative sessions with diverse stakeholder groups for requirements discovery and review.
• Maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation following enterprise standards in Confluence.

Location:

Montreal, QC. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days on-site per week.

Duration:

12 months.
