Job Title: IT CRM Business Analyst - Canada
Location: Thornhill, ON
The IT CRM Business Analyst for Canada is a key member of the Global IT Commercial & Digital team, reporting to the Global IT Commercial & Digital CRM Service Owner. This role plays a critical function in supporting Veeva CRM, Veeva Network, and Veeva Align within the Canadian organization, working closely with both local and global teams to ensure seamless system functionality and optimal user experience.
Acting as the primary point of contact for local users, the IT CRM Local Business Analyst provides technical support, training, and guidance to help resolve issues and enhance system utilization. The role also collaborates with global stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the governance and optimization of Veeva systems to meet evolving business needs.
This position requires a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise in CRM systems, and excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams at both local and global levels.
This role will provide technical support and training to users, help resolve issues and respond to inquiries related to platform functionality and usage.
The individual will work closely with internal teams to identify areas for improvement and opportunities to optimize business processes through Veeva CRM, Network and Veeva Align configuration. This person will participate in planning and implementing new features and enhancements through the Global governance process.
Essential Functions
Serve as the primary strategic liaison for clients regarding Veeva CRM, Network, and Align, fostering strong relationships with both local business stakeholders and the Global IT team. Identify and analyze business needs and challenges, translating them into detailed Veeva requirements or user stories for review in the global governance process. Provide expert consultation and support to local users, ensuring they maximize the value of Veeva solutions in achieving their commercial objectives. Maintain data integrity within Veeva CRM and Veeva Align by executing data loads and ensuring accuracy. Review, monitor, and document integrations with external systems (e.g., McKesson, Knipper) to ensure seamless operations. Manage Veeva Align configurations, including territory adjustments and Multi-Channel Cycle Plan (MCCP) setup based on business needs. Oversee sample lot management within Veeva and provide administrative support for the Sample Module. Act as the local representative for global IT CRM initiatives, communicating upcoming Veeva updates, supporting user training, and facilitating testing of new functionalities. Investigate and resolve user-reported system issues, minimizing disruptions to business operations. Provide on-site support to the sales team during National Sales Meetings. Conduct data cleanup and maintenance, supporting the global governance framework for system integrity. Support CommEx/CommOps in establishing new connections with other brands or business units.
