IT Business Analyst (Co-op)

Klohn Crippen Berger has a co-op opening for a Business Analyst role for an 8-12 month term working with the global IT team to support and enhance our technology infrastructure.

As a Business Analyst Co-op Student supporting the IT team, you'll help bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. You’ll be involved in analyzing IT-related business processes, assisting in solution design, and supporting project implementation efforts. This is a hands-on learning opportunity that blends business acumen with technical exposure.

You will have the opportunity to:

1. Work closely with the IT team to gather and document business and system requirements.
2. Support IT projects by analyzing workflows, identifying process improvements, and assisting with solution planning.
3. Help test new systems, applications, or features to ensure they meet business needs.
4. Assist in the creation of user guides, technical documentation, and training materials.
5. Contribute to the maintenance and support of internal systems by helping resolve minor issues or escalate technical problems.
6. Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and collaborative problem-solving.

Qualifications:

1. Currently enrolled in a university or college program (Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field) in 3rd or 4th year.
2. Interest in business analysis, IT systems, and digital transformation.
3. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); familiarity with SQL, Jira, or BI tools is a bonus.
6. Team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
