Job Opening: IT Business Analyst – IT Enterprise Solutions

Locations: Vancouver, BC / Calgary, AB / Toronto, ON

Role Description

This role involves full responsibility for business analysis, where your advice and decisions will significantly impact the organization’s profitability and effectiveness. The IT Business Analyst, Enterprise Solutions, will help maximize organizational performance through implementing advanced tools and processes, especially within the Self-Storage business vertical. Key tasks include analyzing user requirements, processes, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems, and reviewing capabilities, workflows, and process limitations.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead scoping, requirements definition, and prioritization activities for system enhancements and projects. Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate business requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and prepare business cases. Challenge initiatives with a focus on business value.
  • Assist in creating business cases, ROIs, and other project documentation with input from stakeholders.
  • Create, execute, and document test cases and scripts to validate system changes and support user acceptance testing.
  • Support daily operations of the Self-Storage portfolio and help resolve escalated support issues related to applications and operational systems.
  • Engage with suppliers to resolve incidents and problems, and implement service improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business efficiencies and optimize use of QuadReal’s enterprise applications.
  • Promote a customer-centric culture in all interactions.
  • Assist in creating training materials and conducting training sessions.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of Self-Storage assets and contribute to portfolio growth.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot current software and assist with new system implementations.
  • Oversee projects related to Self-Storage.
Experience and Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in a complex real estate environment.
  • Experience with enterprise applications, especially SiteLink, StorLogix, and Yardi, is advantageous.
  • Understanding of Self Storage business processes.
  • Excellent documentation, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies; change management and process re-engineering experience are assets.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure; occasional travel may be required.

The annual salary range is $80,000–$95,000, with a comprehensive rewards package including incentives, health benefits, pension, and paid time off.
