Job summary

MNP in Toronto is seeking a Manager for the Enterprise Risk – IT Audit team. You will oversee IT audit engagements, manage project teams, and deliver reports with executive summaries and recommendations.

The role requires 4+ years of IT audit experience, professional certifications (CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA), and expertise in COBIT 5/COSO 2013. ESG aware, you’ll drive client risk management and assurance in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Computer Science.
• Completion of, or in the process of completing relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA or other designations.
• 4+ years of IT auditor experience in public accounting or IT risk management / internal audit within a corporate setting.
• Understanding of ITGC, application controls, service orgs and their impact on ICFR.
• Knowledge of COBIT 5 and COSO (2013).
• Familiarity with audit methodologies, system development lifecycle, project management and IT control standards (CobiT, ITIL, ISO 27001/2).

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions on a variety of engagements through collaboration with the team and clients.
• Actively manage, with a hands-on approach, small project teams for all engagement aspects (planning, budgeting, execution, reporting, closure).
• Identify and assess risks, root causes, impacts and mitigations of ITGC, BCC and application controls deficiencies.
• Plan, lead, conduct and close SOC engagements (SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3).
• Lead and/or manage multiple complex engagements from start to finish within budget and timelines.
• Synthesize fieldwork into concise reports / presentations; write and present to clients (Executive Summary, findings, recommendations).
• Contribute to business development via proposals and tailored project plans with engagement lead.
• Share knowledge and contribute to ERS team knowledge base through learning, associations and thought leadership.
