A leading community service provider is seeking an IT Asset Management Assistant for a vital support role within the IT department. You will be responsible for tracking and maintaining IT assets, ensuring data accuracy, and assisting with inventory management. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to manage assets effectively and support internal client requests. The position demands a commitment to a collaborative environment in a dynamic setting, ensuring that hardware is correctly processed throughout its lifecycle.
Contract Hourly (2 month) Bargaining Unit (1 Vacancy)
35 hours / week (M-F 9am-5pm)
Work Setting : Exclusively onsite
Salary : 22.80 / hour

Program Overview Central Services
The IT Asset Management Assistant plays a vital support role within the Central Services IT department working under the guidance of IT Account Managers. This position involves day-to-day operational duties related to the lifecycle of IT assets ensuring hardware is accurately tracked maintained and decommissioned as needed. The role requires hands-on involvement in asset tagging inventory audits physical equipment moves and database updates.
The incumbent of this position performs tasks of a confidential nature. This includes information regarding staff clients and management. Success in this role depends on strong communication organizational skills and the ability to collaborate across teams in a dynamic work environment.
