Responsibilities
Supports the management of IT assets owned or leased by TransLink and its subsidiaries, including hardware, software, products and services by tracking and reporting IT asset inventory, deriving IT asset management metrics and assisting in the assignment of value and costs of the ownership and operation of these IT assets throughout their lifecycle. Provides analysis and support for IT Asset Management processes and the lifecycle of IT assets, including recommending IT asset management standards, improvements and modifications.
Education
Qualifications
Requires Grade 12 graduation plus completion of a certificate or diploma in computer technology, including courses in business and spreadsheet and database applications.
Experience
Requires two (2) years prior experience in an IT configuration environment covering all aspects of asset management. A further period of up to one (1) year is required in the position to become familiar with TransLink’s technology infrastructure and service standards, as well as the Enterprise asset management tool.
Other Information
Recruitment Process : An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.
Work Schedule
37.5 hours per week.

Hybrid
This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.
Rate of Pay
Salary $6,351.06 - $7,617.85 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Dental, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan.
