Job Description

Duties:

  • Develop architecture visions, roadmaps, reference architectures, and standards for OT cybersecurity to support planning, delivery, and operations.
  • Act as program or project architect for complex initiatives, ensuring standardization and consistency.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to maximize ROI on OT cybersecurity investments through optimized architectures and technology choices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to gather and evaluate requirements and constraints.
  • Assess and recommend solutions related to physical devices, firmware, software, networks, cybersecurity, and back-office IT/OT systems.
  • Work with planning, project, and operations teams to align solutions with business needs.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to internal teams and partners.
  • Work effectively within tight timelines and foster productive relationships.
  • Stay updated on technology standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of operational technologies, cybersecurity frameworks, and systems used in electric utilities, with experience in architecture and design.
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and designs.
  • Experience with operational and information technologies, including physical devices, IoT sensors, firmware, software, networking, and grid management solutions.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies like OT-IT convergence, Smart Grid, IIoT, Edge Computing, and Analytics.
  • Knowledge of compliance and cybersecurity standards such as NERC CIP, O&P, and NIST.
  • Professional cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA).
  • Business acumen and familiarity with industry standards for IT-OT architecture and service management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences and work independently.
