What You'll Do
  • Manage and optimize our networks, servers, and technology tools to ensure peak performance and business continuity.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade new hardware and software to support our company's needs.
  • Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues and outages to minimize downtime.
  • Implement and enforce security protocols to proactively protect our systems from threats.
  • Onboard new employees and manage user accounts and access permissions across our systems.
  • Create and maintain an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
  • Handle data backup and archiving and document all IT processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by staying current with the latest advancements in IT administration.
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a System IT Administrator, IT Helpdesk, or in a similar role.
  • Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
  • Proven proficiency in Google Services Administration.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a resourceful approach to challenges.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Atlassian tool administration knowledge on JIRA and Confluence is a plus
  • Professional certifications are a plus

About the Tech Team

Technology powers everything we do at Dialectica – from communicating with clients and finding the most relevant expert profiles in just a few minutes to indexing and categorizing thousands of pieces of information every day. To do so, we are building our own proprietary web application that automates and optimizes the delivery of our market leading services.

The company recruits experts from all over the world in all industries for its clients primarily located outside Quebec, with the support of the company’s other offices located outside Quebec with which interaction is constant. Accordingly, knowledge of English is required for this position. Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and suppliers in Quebec as necessary. French-language training will be offered to all incumbents in permanent positions in Quebec who do not have a good knowledge of French.
