Job summary

Alltech Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a data governance-focused professional within Institutional Securities Technology (IST) to oversee the Risk & Finance Data Quality Acceleration program.

The role collaborates with global teams and policy owners to ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across architectures and tools. The position emphasizes non-coding work, API/configuration level involvement, and effective communication to bridge policy with delivery while advancing data

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Risk & Finance Data Quality Acceleration program efficiently.
• Bridge gaps between policy, tooling, governance, and delivery.
• Educate development teams on intended outcomes and tooling.
• Troubleshoot roadblocks encountered by development teams.
• Understand the company data policy and responsibilities within applications development.
• Comprehend data architecture & management principles and BCBS 239 requirements.
• Contribute to outcome-oriented metrics and dash-boarding.
• Collaborate with the Firmwide Data Office to enhance tooling for cataloging and lineage.
• Support the program beyond stated responsibilities as needed.

Department Overview

Institutional Securities Technology (IST) is one of the six divisions within the Technology organization. Our clients include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Global Capital Markets and Operations, for whom we develop and oversee technology solutions to drive and enable the enterprise. Within IST, our department focuses on all elements of a comprehensive Data Strategy including Data Governance, Data Quality, Analytics, Security & Privacy, and Architecture. The team works across all product lines in Sales and also with partners in Finance, Risk, Treasury, Operations, and Regulatory.

Job Responsibilities

• Efficiently deliver the Risk & Finance Data Quality Acceleration program.
• Effectively bridging the gaps between policy, central tooling, program governance, and delivery.
• Work directly with development teams to educate them on intended outcomes and available tooling.
• Troubleshoot roadblocks encountered by development teams.
• Understand Company’s Data Policy and responsibilities and commitments within the Application Development organization.
• Understand Company’s Data Architecture & Management principles and well as the requirements of the BCBS 239 framework.
• Participate in outcome-oriented metrics.
• Partner with Firmwide Data Office to enhance strategic tooling for Cataloging & Lineage.
• Willingness to work beyond these responsibilities for general assistance to the program.
