Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Irrigation Design Technologist to support our growing irrigation consulting team. In this role, you will assist with drafting irrigation plans and as-built drawings, supporting the design process, preparing estimates and specifications, attending site inspections, and more. This position offers strong potential for professional development and career growth with training, education, and experience.

Rate of Pay:

$50,000 - $60,000/year depending on qualifications and experience

Education:

Post secondary diploma or certificate in a related field (eg. irrigation, engineering technology, landscape architecture, landscape design, AutoCAD drafting).

Irrigation Association Certifications (ie. CID, CLIA) are strong assets.

Experience:

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with municipal CAD standards and irrigation systems/products is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-focused, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
