New construction (Not pre-engineered). Tasks: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms. Perform job-site calculations. Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints. Inspect or test structures and equipment for deterioration, defects or failure to comply with specifications or regulations. Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification. Ironworker Trade Certification. Working at heights training. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools.
