Job summary

Tacten Industrial Inc in Lloydminster, AB is seeking experienced Journeyperson Pipefitters with IRATA Rope Access certification to support our Cenovus Lloydminster site. This Regular Full Time role joins our Rope Access division in a dynamic industrial environment.

You will read blueprints, assemble piping systems, install and repair components, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with other trades while guiding apprentices on a busy site.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Pipefitting Certification Required IRATA Level 1 required, or willingness to obtain.
• CSTS/OSSA or OSSA BSO or OSSA CSOCSE/M (Confined Space and Monitor and Entry) ESC Fall Protection an asset

Responsibilities

• Installation and Assembly: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings.
• Installation and Assembly: Assemble and install piping systems and related equipment following specifications.
• Installation and Assembly: Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using various tools and equipment.
• Installation and Assembly: Install supports, valves, and other control equipment.
• Maintenance and Repair: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair piping systems.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular maintenance to ensure system integrity and performance.
• Maintenance and Repair: Replace defective or worn components as necessary.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure work is performed in compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Safety and Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other trades, contractors, and team members.
• Collaboration and Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and project managers regarding project status and any issues encountered.
• Collaboration and Communication: Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and less experienced pipefitters.
