Job summary

MSCP Heat Management Solutions seeks an IRATA Journeyperson Insulator for field work in the Fort McMurray area. This fly-in/fly-out role operates on a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation with 11.5-hour shifts, performing insulation work using rope access techniques within heat management systems.

Ideal candidates will have IRATA rope access, journeyperson insulation credentials, and experience in industrial environments. Safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Insulator certification required.
• IRATA Rope Access certification – Level 1/2/3.
• Industrial insulation experience, preferably oil sands/refinery.
• Experience performing insulation with rope access techniques.
• Ability to safely work at height.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and work packages.
• Interest in Heat Management Systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Insulation & rope access execution on piping, vessels, tanks, and equipment.
• Perform insulation activities using IRATA rope access techniques.
• Safely perform work at height in accordance with IRATA and MSCP standards.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work packages.
• Ensure insulation systems are installed per project specs and client quality standards.
• Collaborate with other trades to support system integrity.
