Job summary

Yee Hong is opening the Ng Siu Chan Care Centre in Canada and seeks an IPAC Manager to shape the infection prevention program from day one. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will lead IPAC policy development, outbreak management, and surveillance across Yee Hong sites.

You will bring a nursing or allied health background, IPAC certification (CIC preferred), CPR, and experience in long-term care. The role requires collaboration, executive involvement, and ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration or equivalent in good standing.
• IPAC/CIC certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year.
• Experience in long-term care or healthcare setting with infection control.
• Strong teaching, planning and independent working abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead IPAC program development, policies, and quality initiatives.
• Coordinate outbreak management with Public Health and stakeholders.
• Oversee surveillance, data analysis, and reporting of IPAC metrics.
• Mentor IPAC champions and provide staff education on infection control.
