Job summary

RAD Torque Systems, based in Abbotsford, BC, Canada, is seeking a DevOps Developer / Engineer to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC for firmware, backend, frontend, mobile, and cloud services.

You will collaborate with firmware, software, and IT teams to ensure secure software delivery, observability, and operational excellence across embedded devices and cloud environments. This role reports to the Software Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / diploma in a Software, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for firmware, backend, frontend, mobile, and cloud services.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Deploy, configure, and manage containerized workloads and orchestration platforms.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for production and development environments.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows.
• Support software release processes, versioning, and rollback strategies.
• Design and maintain security infrastructure and processes, including PKI, secrets, and vulnerability remediation.
• Integrate automated security scanning and compliance validation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with software and firmware teams to ensure secure software delivery and vulnerability remediation.
